Lagavulin Offerman Edition Charred Oak Cask
Peated Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed January 28, 2023Nose: Peat, chocolate, treacle Palate: Baking spices, cocoa, wood, baked apples Finish: Burnt toast, black pepper, sea spray Tastes less sweet and smoky than Lagavulin 16 but still delicious in a different way. 8/1069.99 GBP per Bottle -
Nose: Peat, white wine, hint of sweet hat Palate: Apricot, ginger, honey, funky farmyard notes, hint of mineral Finish: Minerals, lactic funk I just can’t get past the farmyard notes. I don’t get them in any Port Charlottes I’ve tried but they just seem to overpower this. I wish it tasted as good as it smells. 5.5/1075.0 GBP per Bottle
