Reviewed January 1, 2021Sweet nose with some depth. Sherry influence comes out with ripe red fruits. Palate rush with honey, caramel, frosting, orange peel. Lingering oak and sherry sweetness. -

Reviewed October 8, 2020Leather, old suitcase, coat closet, lots of old funk on the nose. Little bit of mint too. Sweet snickerdoodle cookie. Palate is surprisingly creamy. Bright upfront with baking spices, caramel apple, cherry. Leads to long woody finish. Mouth-coating. Some tannins. The older bourbon is very prevalent here. Dry funky oak. Awesome overall. Reviewed September 30, 2020 (edited September 24, 2021)For Canadian rye this is quite good. 100% rye. Nice spicy nose with some menthol. Heavy mouthfeel. Rich rye spices, mint, oak. Lingers grainy with a touch of funk.
