    Rich. Woody. Oaky. Caramel. Sweet. So many ways to describe this pour. It’s so balanced and great. I’ll try to refine this later. Candy cherry. Lingering perfection. Such a great bottle. The lower proof of this year really makes this accessible

    Sweet nose leading to slightly medicinal cherry. Beautifully smooth palate with rich vanilla frosting, caramel, sugar cookie. Finish is thick and sweet. Slightly syrupy. Great bourbon

    First impression: cherry twizzlers. Very sweet nose. Candy cherry bomb. Toasted coconut reminiscent of tanning lotion. Caramel. Palate right away leads to nice funk. Lots of funk at first. Little nuttiness. Finish is cloying at first but falls off similar to Blanton’s.

    Sweet caramel nose. Cherry and light cinnamon. Smooth sipper. Caramel palate, candy cherry, palate is nice but fades to a sweet finish that tapers off. Not bad, easy sipping, but definitely overhyped. The price tag is for the fancy bottle and topper. Bourbons that are better: EHT small batch and Henry McKenna.

    Hot nose. Spice and caramel forward. Decently oily mouthfeel. Sweet vanilla and baking spices. I like the higher proof but the finish falls flat pretty fast.

    I’m surprised single barrel is better than this. Caramel and spice nose. Palate is fairly one dimensional. Some nuttiness peaks up and lingers to the finish. It’s okay

    Nose is pleasant. Caramel apple, cider mill donut. Palate is richer, mildly oily, baking spices, nuttiness. Finish lingers a little while. Surprisingly nice overall

    Nose: heavenly. So rich and complex. Smoked meats, frosting, peat overload, berries and cream, apple crisp. Palate: so rich. Insane depth of flavors. Hard to even pick apart what is going on. Peat is earthy and thick, chewy. Rich creme brûlée, chocolate notes, marzipan, camp fire, bbq, roasted almonds. Finish is long and rollercoaster of flavors. Lingers heavy. Stays with you forever. Breathing smoke. Fantastic bottle
