Tastes

Good. I think I like a few other things more for the price. Buffalo Trace is more versatile for less $. But this is a well priced bottle, not a “steal” or big hidden value in my opinion.

I have yet to mix with it. But I am excited to make a Manhattan. I’ve sipped it neat. In a glass. And flask. Honestly, best flasker I’ve had yet. It’s tasty, nothing special. Worth a try if looking for something new.

This may become my go to from now on. Sweet, rich, full, smells excellent. Classic and delicious - without being boring.

mhmmm. Me Likey. I’m not crazy about peatiness in general. This has an enjoyable (noticeable, but not the only thing happening) amount of peat for my preferences. But it’s still sweet and oaky and “complex” enough for my taste buds. I’ll be happy to buy another bottle.

Good drink. Best suited for mixing in my opinion. Strong enough and classic taste. Sipped it neat a number of times. But not a real “sipper” if there are also other bottles open.
