Glen Grant 10 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed February 23, 2017 (edited January 13, 2018)Maybe the kind of classic Scotch that doesn’t make any new fans. What they miss is a nose of ripe apples and light beer, a honey palate close to mead, followed by a mildly spicy finish that lingers. 23-23-22-22=90 -
Blanton's Special Reserve
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 16, 2017 (edited February 23, 2017)Soft, round nose. Taste of orange (almost like an Old Fashioned) followed by a somewhat spicy finish. Mellow but very drinkable. -
Old Pulteney Noss Head
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 24, 2017 (edited February 23, 2017)Neither very salty or smoky. Instead it's surprisingly mild even leaving a nice hint of coconut behind.
