Excellent, affordable, sherry bomb whisky. Among 12 years old whiskies my fist choice is Balvenie and second is Glendronach. Glenfarclas and Aberlour is in the third and fourth.

I tasted it in a Glengoyne whisky tasting line up. Glengoyne 25 is the best whisky I have ever tasted. A lot of different tastes: raisin, dark chocolate, marzipan, orange, oaky, toffee... The color is dark. The finish is very very long. Perfect!

Very nice dram for hot summer nights.

This one is risky. Some people love Ardbeg expressions, some hate. I am in the second group. Too peaty, too salty, too leathery, too iodic. I could not finish the bottle and gave it to a friend who loves peaty whiskies.

Superb. Very rich. I always keep one bottle of Nectar D’or on my shelf.

Very watery, poor on the palate. I am disappointed. This one is the only bottle I didn’t enjoy from Glenlivet. I’ll use it in the cocktails.
