Willett Family Estate Small Batch Rye 4 Year
Rye — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 3, 2023 (edited September 21, 2023)This just came in first in a close finish with Wild Turkey Rare Breed Rye in a blind tasting that also included Pikesville, and Russell's Reserve SiB Rye. They were close but were distinctly different. The WTRB was creamier and fuller. The W4 was richer and more flavorful. Depending on the mood, I would gladly reach for either as a top choice and feel the winner each time. Tonight it was Willett for the win. -
