Stranahan's Diamond Peak (new recipe)
American Single Malt — Colorado, USA
Reviewed December 24, 2020More oak than yellow label, less barley. Sweeter on the nose, smoother on the finish. Super creamy. Really good for the price point. Still prefer yellow label but a great addition to the lineup.41.0 USD per Bottle -
Macallan Fine Oak 15 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 23, 2020 (edited June 2, 2022)Thin upfront but long finish. Long finish goes from green apple to a dark dark chocolate and woody finish, pairs nicely with the forward fruit. Strong alcohol but sweet nose, fruit but my palate is not refined enough to pinpoint. Do get a bit of honey and maybe some pear. Very pleasant, to be honest. -
