Not my favorite… far from there.

Sweet sweet sweet!!!

This reminded me why I love discovering Whisky! I was not expecting anything about this one, but the nose charmed me right away! I sensed a little rye note in there… something I was not expecting from a scotch! Butiful caramel, vanilla and dry fruit on the palate. On finale, typical rye spice! I’m wondering where that comes from…. Maybe the barrel! Anyway, it’s a charm!

My favorite Lowland scotch. Honnest Flaviar, typical from that region. Floral nose with a hint of orange-vanilla note to it.

Very mineral! Little background smoke and peat. A lot of honey, vanilla and sweetness! It is posted as « pleated single malt » but the subtility of the peat is surprising. It is an interesting scotch. Deserving a 90% score? Maybe not.

The port cask is predominant here. It is very tasty and very good!

The first thing I smelled In this scotch was the smoke. I was not expecting that. On the palate: spice, vanilla and cinnamon is the main flavour I felt. Overall very good!

When you think of the typical Highland single malt, this is it. Sweetness, vanilla, orange zest, vanilla, little oak wood, everything’s there! For a 10 years old, it’s a good one!
