$9.99 on sale. Worth a try. Wouldn’t pay full price but it was okay at this price

Definitely tasted the vanilla and butterscotch. Did not taste the smoke in this whiskey. Nothing special and I wouldn’t seek it out, but this was the best a dive bar had, so it is what I drank.

To me, this tasted like cinnamon and brown sugar toast. Was a little sweet but not too bad. At 90 proof it was just warm enough to overcome some of the sweetness. Not too bad. I’ll buy this again when it’s on sale, but not at full price.

This was $19.99 for a 1.75 liter. I thought it was worth a try, but I was wrong. The aroma coming out of my glass singed my nose hairs a bit. The tast was rather bland for how strong the alcohol smelled. My quest for a bottom shelf daily drinker continues, as this is not the cheap bourbon for me.

Sweet smell when you get past the alcohol smell, and definitely super sweet once it’s in a rocks glass with a few cubes. Probably too sweet for me. So far in my hunt for bottom shelf bliss this is a no go. The ranking of cheap stuff for me is EW black, then Ancient Age, followed by EW green

Surprisingly not too bad for the $9.89! I paid for the bottle. Not my favorite, but I wouldn’t say no to this again. I still prefer Evan Williams Black Label for my Bottom Shelf Bliss, but this comes in glass or plastic and I think the plastic bottle is the way to go for outings.

Surprising ly not bad in my hunt for bottom shelf bliss to save money. The nose is harsh, and burns the hairs out of your nose, but then the vanilla scent comes out. Wasn't anything special when tried neat, but on ice it seemed to sweeten up a bit and there was some caramel type taste.

Meh. Won’t buy it, but won’t turn down a drink or two of it either
