Tastes

Very smooth, but not what I expected for the price. I had it back to back with Elijah Craig Single Barrel, and I'd choose Elijah every day of the week. Jack has never really blown me away.

I'm an Islay guy, not a highlands guy. I love peat and smoke, but I'm not a fan of the fruitiness of a good Scotch. I love my Scotch to taste like a smoldering fire. This is great but not my style. I won't rank it too low just because it's not my cup of tea. It's damn good for a blend and I'd drink it again... on the company credit card.

This is excellent. The heavy vanilla and sweetness on the back end is delightful as hell. $50 is half decent for a barrel proof bottle too.

What a deal for $12. I would definitely get it again.

I'm not picky but I don't dig this. The notes are good, but damn is it boozy.
