Initially had wood shavings and dry sawdust notes to a classic bourbon base. Then it opens up with huge earthy, wet soil notes that take this to another level. A little rough, but don’t read into it, it’s just a tad bit edgy. Well done from whatever cask this came from. And the price point, hands down the best bourbon you could have!

Brine and sea-salt dominates the nose, a heavy smoke on the palate typical of Islay whisky. Have to be in the right mood for this aggressive flavor.

Ehh, so-so, basic and straight forward.

Fantastic blend of rye and bourbon, the spiciness of the rye or the sweetness of the bourbon is not dominant but smooth and long rounded off finish that will please your taste buds. This is a game changer that will have anyone tasting this begging for more. Well done my friends.
