Nose: Vanilla, salt, caramel, apples Palate: Vanilla, apples, plums, salt Finish: Chocolate, spicy oak, plums Excellent whisky for a 10 years old and very affordable.

Nose: Vanilla, smoke, plums Palate: plums, faint smoke Finish: Plums, oak, mild chocolate This one goes pretty far from my preference. The smoke is too mild. It would be better without the smoke.

Nose: Peat smoke, vanilla, salt, citrus, caramel Palate: Vanilla, brine, smoke, caramel Finish: Smoke, ash, brine Nice bottling from Lagavulin. Its very delicious but the 16 year old gains a lot from the sherry cask finish over this one that is solely bourbon cask maturated.

Nose: Smoke, ash, vanilla, pear, lemon Palate: Smoke, brine, ash, pear, nuts Finish: Smoke, ash, lemon, nuts Actually one of the excellent NAS bottlings out there.

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, plums, chocolate Palate: apples, oak, vanilla Finish: Plums, oak, chocolate Excellent sherry whiskey and very tasty for its abv. Too expensive for its worth though.

Nose: Vanilla, oak, raisins, chocolate Palate: Vanilla, raisins, chocolate Finish: Oak, plums, chocolate Excellent flavour profile, but the youthfull harshness takes a lot of the magic away. A few more years in the cask would round of the edges.

Nose: Vanilla, sea water, smoke, iodine Palate: Smoke, sea water, apples, vanilla, iodine, ash Finish: Smoke, sea water, iodone The Laphroaig smoke usually ticks all my boxes and for that reason this is a very good whiskey. Still putting this out as 40% is a waste. It looses a lot in depth and delivery.

Nose: Apples, citrus, seasalt, vanilla Palate: salt, oak, vanilla, honey, Finish: oak, salt, apples Real simple whiskey, but so damn good and so cheap.
