    Nose: Peat, smoke, vanilla, caramel, brine, raisins Palate: Brine, plums, spice Finish: Spicy oak, smoke, ash, plums This tastes younger, but still shines. Nice port-influences with talisker trademark flavours. I like this very much, eventhough it's a little harsh.

    Nose: Vanilla, peat smoke, brine, plums Palate: Brine, apples, raisins, smoke Finish: Smoke, spicy oak, plums Incredible whiskey, the first japanese I've tried and the best blend ever. Balance is marvelous here. The peat, the smoke, and the bourbon-sherry-influences are married together well.

You can smell its younger, but its complex, fruity and just tremendously fun. My favourite abv and the price for 1 litre bottle is ludicrously low. A must have.
