Tastes

Received from a bourbon fan in 2020. Nose: chewed minty gum, wet hay Taste: well rounded with a slight hint of heat. Soft easy to drink. Finish: it lingers but not long Glad I was able to try it. Was a nice Elijah Craig.

Nose: fruity candy, syrup, grains Taste: mint, spearmint/wintergreen, velvet but gives a numbness to the tongue Finish: long creamy lasting hot tart

Nose: nothing???? Taste: creamy Finish: clean

Nose: soft floral Taste: banana, cloves, green apple Finish: a bit of spice, cigar finish

Sweet maple flavor. If you can find you should get. It’s whiskey

Peat and heat! Beautiful dram. Tasted neat and love the flavor

Elijah Craig is my favorite whiskey! That being said, this expression may actually be my favorite! It’s light on the alcohol and has an intense flavor. Nose: vanilla, caramel bomb, light DP Taste: Chocolate pecan candy Finish: soft spicy lasting Update: had on June 10, 22. Not as impressive. Heard it wasn’t a good batch, so this would link up with that statement

Not what I expected. I will take Elijah Craig! 97 proof is good, but missing something.

Nose: misty sea spray Taste: sweet, light brine with burnt vanilla Finish: light, slight linger of peat
