Wild Turkey Bourbon 101
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 19, 2022 (edited February 21, 2022)Nothing spectacular, but for the price it’s nearly unbeatable. Decent proof that would hold up in a cocktail, but is still solid enough to enjoy neat. All around great. -
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed February 10, 2022 (edited July 5, 2022)Nose is sweet and fragrant. The palate though… was lacking at first. Fell flat and was mostly ethanol, but eventually some banana flavor came through. Overall, unimpressed honestly. -

Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 4, 2022 (edited May 9, 2022)Nose is softly sweet with just the right amount of orange zest. The palate is easy with a hint of cherry. The finish lingers awhile with just the right amount of ethanol. Easy to see why this won awards recently.Brazed Bourbon & Beer -
Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed January 14, 2022Nose is port (obviously) and sweetness. Palate is wood and grapes. Finish is light and fleeting. As the low proof would lead you to believe, there’s not much ethanol burn at all. -
