Nose: oak, caramel, campfire smoke Palate: slightly oily, less smoke than nose would suggest. Caramel, vanilla. Medium-long finish with smoke coming back. Not getting much fruit. Decent but I think pricewise I’m more likely to gravitate towards Famous Grouse for a simple sipper.

Nose: vanilla, wood, smoke, barbecue Palate: peat/smoke, seaweed, black pepper, faint pear, earthy tea finish

Only rested for 5ish mins this time Nose: banana, sea salt, floral, fruit Palate: campfire smoke, short black peppery/spicy finish

Cloying and one note but not undrinkable - probably will just shoot
