Appearance / Color
Amber

Nose 
Has definite similarities to the nose of the 10 year rye WhistlePig. It's strong and fresh and distinctly a rye.

Palate
Very spicy with a strong rush of cinnamon.
 
Finish
Nice smooth finish with a little bit of vanilla to end it all.

Review
Overall this is a really amazing rye whiskey with plenty of legs. Considering the intention of this one to be used by bartenders as a mixer it would definitely make a perfect Manhattan.

I forgot how smooth this is. At 94 proof it has just a little bit of bite to it. Really nice nose leads to an extremely smooth finish. Can’t beat at this price point.

Has a caramel/chocolate finish. Not as good as more expensive single barrels but for the price of $23.99 it’s a really good value.
