Obviously very young. Strong notes of chemicals and butterscotch compete in the nose. The flavor ramps up to a cinnamon spice and then fades to a generic burn. Altogether it’s not a great bourbon but not entirely unpalatable. Could use some more time in the barrel to tone down the brash youthfulness evident throughout. Best on ice.

Woah, unique and complex. A real fruity start that opens up into a barrel size oak flavor in your mouth with a spiced finish. A drop of water toned it down on the back end but the jury is out whether it was an improvement. Is it worth the money? That’s up to how you value things but I don’t regret the order.50.0 USD per PourCedar Room

Grangestone 25 Year Highlands Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed June 16, 2019Crazy clean with a nice long finish. The nose is strong with sherry, green apples, and honey. My only nit is that the space between front and back is almost too smooth. It’s a limited release so if you see it, get it!
