Bigger burn on the nose than other Highland Parks I’ve tried.Smooth at the beginning but then the burn comes. A few drops of water brings out the sweetness and spices.

Sweet and Smokey, I love this. I’ll admit that I am partial to Highland Park. The peat is there but is not overpowering like some other island whisky. Can taste both the sherry cask and the salt air. Well done.

My daughter brought this back as a Xmas gift from the UK. Sweetness and smoke combine to make a very good dram. A bit of a burn and a bitter aftertaste knock it down a notch.

Definitely not a typical “island” Scotch. Fruity with no peat and just a hint of smokiness. Really nice.

Beautiful deep amber color. Definitely peat on the nose. Slight burn then a flavor explosion in the mouth. I’m not sure I’ve tasted anything like it before. Warm aftertaste. I can taste the smoky peat and the salty air it was aged in.

Very dark amber color. Sweet on the nose. Definitely sweet tasting, young. Vanilla from the first new casks 15 months) with the sweetness of the rum coming through. Definitely a different kind of spirit. I think it will make a great old fashioned.

The light color does not prepare you for the smell or taste. 1st whiff smelled so peaty that it reminded me of chewing a bandaid. The taste was overwhelming at first but as I drank it (with a few drops of water) it grew and grew on me. I was in love by the end of the glass. The taste reminds me of a good barbecue brisket. Oily and salty with lots of smoke. Great value for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful amber color, Smoky vanilla aroma. Definitely smoky taste with vanilla, salt, brine. Definitely can taste the sea. Smooth and sweet with a little water.

Visually very clear. Aroma is that of peat smoke with a hint of sweetness. The first taste definitely has the rubbery peat taste. Adding water sweetens the taste. I don’t think I’m giving up smoky scotch like Talisker for this.
