    Amber gold w/nice alcohol legs. Nose- vanilla, sweet corn, charred oak, & green wood. Taste- similar, with more wood & some cellar mold. Slightly heavier bodied and bolder tasting that standard Jim Beam. Moderate finish. RJT

    Faintly greenish-gold appearance, w/typical alcohol legs. Nose- pungent, full grain, peat, & smoke. Taste- smoke, peated grain, bread dough, and a touch of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium, and the finish is moderate. Good stuff, here. RJT

    Clan MacGregor is greenish-golden with standard alcohol legs. The aroma is of sweet grain whisky, with some underlying peat. The flavor is of bread dough, with a grain bite and a kiss of peat. No smoke. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Clan MacGregor finishes moderately long. For a value-priced blend, it's a winner. RJT
