Tastes

Lots of spice- rum and rye - on the nose. Smells sweet, with a maple buttery syrup note. A hint medicinal deep in the glass - in a good way. The palette is similar. Sweet and creamy and like dessert compared to the others in this lineup (more traditional pours). Very nice.

The nose is a bit dirty, with definite oak/char and grain. It feels full bodied, and again the oak is very present on the palette. As it fades there is good sweetness and a caramel or toffee. There is still a little dirty (socks?) or something that pops during the finish. Pleasant but not a highlight.

Nose is light- with some candied caramel and very light perfume. Palette is enjoyable. The heat is present, and with a drop of d/w the grain stands out, and there is a bit of a sweet note on the finish.

The nose is a bit hit low in the glass, but floral and pleasant up high. The palette is grain and simple up front but finishes with enjoyable spice. A drop of d/w opens both nose and palette. Enjoyable.

Cereal grain on the nose and palette. A slight toffee and caramel. Grain is less noticeable with a drop of distilled water. Easy. Very little burn. Decent.
