    Nose: sharp fruit and floral. A whiskey doesn’t even come to mind. Taste: light sweetness, no spicy tongue bite at all. Then a nice level of peat and glorious alcohol fumes fill your sinuses. Finishes with a plum taste and a little warmth.

    Nose: strong ethanol, oak spice. Candy store sweetness. Taste: right off the bat the taste is strong corn whiskey, not too sweet, some hot cinnamon. Finishes with a little tannin dryness. But gives me a saccharine aftertaste. Pretty different from the usual bourbon.

    Nose: Light floral sweetness and black pepper. Taste: super light mouth feel, light sweetness and pepper. Not too much heat. A light clean bourbon. Doesn’t blow up my skirt but there is literally nothing bad about it and for around $10 its not too shabby.

    Nose: peaty burned rubber with a medicinal smell reminding me of old hospital smells, camphor or phenol. Any sweet smell is overpowered by the smoke. Taste: more pleasant than the smell. Sweet marmalade, citrus, ester flavors in the finish. I would have scored higher if that camphor wouldn’t have made me think of clinic visits with Nurse Ratched.

    Nose: rich brown sugar, vanilla, oak,grain, pipe tobacco. Taste: maple syrup and oak, not too much cinnamon or ethanol burn. Definitely has had the rough edges rounded off over its 10 years of aging.

    Nose: maple donut and taffy Taste: traditional bourbon taste with enough charred oak finish to remind me of a peated scotch.

    Nose: brown sugar, over ripe banana, a little bit of nail polish remover. Taste: Starts with a BURST of sweetness followed by cinnamon spice heat and oak and banana fumes enter your sinus. Wood tannins finish it off. The length of your esophagus will not be ignored as it travels down.
