Terrible aftertaste. No Sir! I don’t like it!

Since Balcones has a dozen different versions of this. What I had was the Pot Distilled. At first taste it was dark fruit raisins and fig newton. Sweet brown sugar cinnamon. But left me with a slight metallic feel at the end which reminded me of spraying the back of my throat with phenol or maybe oral lidocaine.

Nothing is strong about this. Pretty boring but there is nothing bad about it. Will keep set aside for non whiskey drinking guests who wanna mix it with coke.

My bottle doesn’t say moonshine. Just whiskey. Very clean and simple. Dusty corn flavors with a little sweetness. Drink it for what it is. 100%corn. If you drink it expecting typical whiskey or bourbon flavors you’ll just be disappointed.
