This is HOT, a little too hot for my preference. Molasses and vanilla with a Werther’s like finish.

Way too tasty for the proof point it’s at. This one is DANGEROUS. Brown sugar, cherry and vanilla. A long woody finish as well.

Reminds me of brown sugar oatmeal… this is tasty. The website nails it with a bourbon type start and rye type finish. Does not finish as long as I’d like hence the sub-4 rating.

A very, very well-rounded bourbon. Cherry, vanilla and some spice. The lasting finish is cherry. This is fantastic.

Hot on the nose but surprisingly light for its proof point on the palate. Orange zest, nutmeg and allspice on the palate with a lighter honey finish.

Very similar to its Buffalo Trace cousin, Eagle Rare in that it’s a textbook bourbon in taste. Vanilla and Caramel rule the palate with some Cherry as well. Simply put, take Eagle Rare and replace the sweetness with some more proof. A very well rounded, excellent bourbon.

Damn good. Viscosity is phenomenal. Semi-sweet chocolate notes with cherries on the palate. Finish with some roasted peanuts. This is silky smooth.

Butterscotch, caramel, vanilla and some slight allspice. A textbook easy-to-drink, yet complex enough bourbon.
