Nose is earthy and vegetal with that band-aid funk. Palate is peaty on the tongue with some burn to let you know it’s strength. A few drops of water will give a euphoric sensory overload. The finish is rather short but leaves a little oil. Overall, if you’re a fan of Islay’s then you’ll love it, if not, you’ll hate it.75.0 USD per Bottle

Talisker 2010 Distillers Edition (Bottled 2020)
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed June 30, 2021 (edited October 5, 2021)A sweeter Talisker 10. The sea is just a bit more muted by the sherry, but definitely present. Nice price point also. -
Ardbeg Wee Beastie
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed August 24, 2020 (edited September 5, 2020)I give this a 4.5 because I’ve finally found the peaty punch in the jaw I’ve been looking for. I still prefer Laph 10 or Laga 16 more regularly, but this one is inexpensive, very tasty and a nice ABV45.0 USD per Bottle -
Tasted like flower flavored rubbing alcohol. Best thing about it is the remnants of the Laphroaig 10 that I didn’t rinse out of the glass. Might literally dump the bottle out otherwise it will sit on my bar until I can trick friends into finishing the bottle over the next few decades. Good thing I got it for free!
