I'm a big fan of Islay scotch and this ardbeg is simply superb for serious peat lovers.

If you enjoy the Caol Ila 12 then you will definitely love this distiller edition. The amazing moscatel sherry is superb pleasant on nosing and taste very calm like Lagavulin 12.

Definitely one of my most favorite islay cask this year. It's got a unique old furniture, smell of vintage leather nose yet the sharp intense sherry sweetness is really my kinda of drink. The peat is enough and spice is huge with herbal sense. The finishing is the longest I have ever tasted.

I'm always wanted this bottle for its heavily peated style and it really not let me down. If you like the Kilchoman you will also gonna love this.

I'm glad to drink this classic laddie every time it deliver a full bodied of 50% abv. The brightness of the barley really shine through the palate. It's creamy refreshing and long finish. It's a great islay drinker choice.

I'm a islay drinker. So I'm not into a dram without a nice peat. However when o drink this sherry cask it's intense sherry sweetness but I think due to the 57.1% it is over powering. Of course with dash of water it mellow Down slightly. It's more like a port style to me. Not to my taste and for its price it's disappointing.
