The first time I had Cardhu 12 was at the White Horse Inn in Edinburgh, 2019. Home to the origins of Harry Potter and capital of Scotland, Edinburgh is a must see location filled with life and teaming with rich Scottish history. CARDHU 12: Site: A light amber color that beautifully captures the suns morning light. Nose: Fruity and honey notes hit my nose first. However, think of a crushed grain and see if you can pick up the cereals hidden in the backyard of a long nasally inhale. Taste: A rich creamy texture rolls across the tongue. To the Nose: The smell of vanilla and toffee pleasantly rocket out of the dram glass. To the Pallet: a creamy texture dances throughout your mouth and chased away by a Christmas like spice. Hints of charred wood and bourbon are masked behind an all around enjoyable dram.

*note from the back of the bottle* On the nose you will find fresh green apples and fresh cut hay. On the Palate there’s a bold sweet honey and Granary toast punch flavor, followed by a light, sweet, Fruity finish.

Ranks in at 35 ppm a great middle ground between AnCnoc Cutter, 20.5 ppm, and Ardbeg Uigeadail 50 ppm.

50 PPM. A great smoke taste on par with Laphroaig 10 and Ardbeg 10.
