Tastes

Nose is rich, honey and vanilla and a slight hint of smoke. The palate is sweet, almost candied apple tasting, with a nuttiness and distinct oak influence. There are notes of citrus peel which gives a slightly bitter finish and the smokiness becomes more prevalent. The finish is long with a pepper spice

Initial tasting is sweet honey, vanilla, almost a candied lemon taste with distinctive end notes of salt. The smokiness is quite subdued but noticeable on the finish. When adding water you find a more straw/herbal note with a prevalent taste of lemon citrus, white grapes and still a bacon/salted smoke taste on the end

Smokey, but not too overpowering where you are able to still get the fruitiness and ability to get a taste of the maritime notes and sweetness. A hit of pepper and spice on the palate at the end.
