Tastes

Surprisingly light and sweet. Similar to Gentleman Jack but smoother and sweeter.

Spicy up front. Mellows quickly to sweetness.

Solid. Smooth, slight peat. Easy sipper

Had it on ice. Sweet, probably would have had a bite without the ice. But great sipper with a big cube.

Take double oak and add a bit more heat to it. Solid bourbon. Added a touch of water and it brought out a bit more sweetness.

Sweet and pleasant on the nose. Sweet up front followed by another shot of vanilla. Did they just add vanilla extract to this? Doesn’t taste like whiskey at all. Shoulda popped a Trulys instead.

Surprisingly smooth. Slightly sweet. Not much complexity. Glad I got to try this.

Spicy notes up front, but not overpowering. Hint of sweetness. First taste is super rich caramel and sweetness. Like pudding. Then mellows out to some spice probably due to the abv. Then heat kicks in and lingers. Quite the winter warmer. Gonna try another glass with a touch of water.

Actually pretty damn good! Honey on the nose but wood kicks in with a little vanilla/pudding side note. A mellow heat comes on but fades slowly. I’d say it’s on par with gentleman jack, but less sweet and more wood. Not worth the $45 or so. But I’d buy it again for $35 and under
