Amazing whiskey with a rich sweet and sour profile. If you ever see a bottle in the shelves then grab it immediately. Nose - sour cherries, red apple and vanilla, some bittersweet chocolate and a bit of brown sugar, and some dried fruit along with the other more prominent notes Taste - sweet and fruity at first, almost floral and herbal on the tongue, and dark chocolate with dried cherries, a hint of sweet caramel or burned brown sugar Finish - sour and sweet notes mix together pleasantly, and nice sharp burn that fades into the background, an oily and lingering finish

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch B519
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed March 30, 2020 (edited July 3, 2021)Really bold and tasty, if you can get past the extra heat it’s a very complex and interesting bourbon. Nose - warm brown sugar and toasted caramel start things off, some apple and dried fruit, then a bit of orange cream, a hint of cinnamon, cloves and barrel spice Taste - oily and sweet, melted butterscotch in flavor and texture, some cinnamon, a little citrus zest at the end and some subtle barrel spice Finish - spicy caramel with some solid oak spice in the background, a solid burn that lingers for awhile and you can feel it working its way down -
A flavor bomb of caramel, vanilla and spicy cherries. Amazing stuff, especially for the price point. Nose - caramel, vanilla, orange zest and a hint of almonds Taste - the vanilla caramel and honey kick things off, then some spice and cherry. Ones through Finish - lingering spice with a bit off heat, finishes with cherry notes

A really tasty bourbon and one of my favorite budget options. That being said I’d definitely pay more for it because it’s darn good stuff. Nose - rye spice and baking spice up front, some caramel and nuttiness comes through as well Taste - solid spice off the bat and the sweeter caramel notes come through, with a nice hint of milk chocolate with almonds Finish - the spice lingers quickly but the heat remains, the sweeter caramel notes round things out

An amazing blended scotch that’s approachable and enjoyable by almost anyone while still surprising complex considering the reasonable price point. Nose - orange zest, vanilla and floral perfume jump out at you, with some caramel and baking spice notes as well Taste - almost like a creme brûlée, with vanilla and toasted caramel, some spiced orange cokes through as well Finish - a lovely lingering sweetness dominates but the dry spicy notes are more noticeable at the end

Laws Centennial Straight Wheat Whiskey Bonded (2019 Release)
Wheat Whiskey — Colorado, USA
Reviewed March 23, 2020 (edited December 10, 2020)An amazing whiskey, tastes like a spicy Orange Julius, with some good heat on the backend Nose - orange peel and cream jump right out, grain spice, some vanilla and baking spices as well Taste - feels like a spiced creamsicle, orange zest, vanilla, grain spice, and herbs Finish - I like this finish like I like my women: oily, hot and spicy -
A spice bomb with some pleasant sweetness in the background. Really good stuff! Nose - primarily lemon peel and vanilla, with some subtle spice Taste - the barre spice and black pepper comes through here, even some cayenne pepper, then honey, with vanilla and apple notes following along behind Finish - the spice lingers at the back of your throat, again it reminds me of honey spiced with cayenne pepper
