Reviewed February 27, 2020 (edited April 10, 2020)Nose - sweet and light, vanilla, butterscotch, lemon zest and a touch of coconut Taste - butter and honey, with a touch of spice, not very complex but very enjoyable Finish - thin and light, some lemony tag at the end, hotter than you expect for 80 proof -

Reviewed February 25, 2020 (edited October 11, 2022)Nose - smoke from a lighter wood, and distinct bandaid smell Taste - surprising pleasant and buttery, mild sweetness with a campfire taste at the back of your tongue Finish - oily and lingering with some heat and barrel spice * Man, my poetic side comes out after I’ve had a few. -

Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 25, 2020 (edited April 11, 2020)Nose - Just like malt o meal cereal with a healthy dash of salt mixed in and some honey added Taste - Britney and sweet, with a bit of honey of citrus Finish - soft and velvety, mostly honey with a bit of black pepper. Very nice! -

Reviewed February 18, 2020 (edited May 2, 2020)Nose - dark chocolate, raisin, light citrus and okay spice Taste - creamy sweetness, chocolate almond notes, hint of orange peel Finish - light and lingering, gets sweeter before it fades. -
Ardbeg Corryvreckan
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed February 18, 2020 (edited August 5, 2020)Nose - Smokey, bacon, slight brine, slight chemical whiff but not unpleasant, iodine, tanned leather Taste - initial intense sweet and salty flavor, almost like kettle corn. Smoked meat and light smoke and bit of an acid tang. Really intense but enjoyable. Finish - lingering comfortable burn, oily and pleasant.
