Reviewed June 26, 2021 (edited August 20, 2021)Bought this bottle for $36 at a cool store in MI. My brother-in-law and I loved it, tried to go back and buy some more but they were all gone. N - big sherry bomb nose, rich and dark, plums and a hint of walnuts, some spice P - medium to thick body, rich and spicy, some dry tannins but it adds balance F - dark fruit flavors linger, fall off into some dry spice, medium burn -

Reviewed June 20, 2021 (edited February 15, 2022)Nose - orange zest, oak spice and cinnamon, smells a bit dry Palette - light oil texture, much more dry oak on the tongue, a bit of honey and vanilla, lots of dry tannin Finish - a bit if sweetness but mostly lingering dry tannins - medium burn -

Reviewed May 30, 2021 (edited September 21, 2021)Nose - significant rye spice and baking spices, caramel and vanilla underneath, some citrus zest, rich overall and doesn’t smell too hot Palette - thick, sharp and hot rye spice up front, some herbal notes and cinnamon, burnt orange peel, a bit of brown sugar Finish - hot and lingering herbal spice, decent burn going down but very pleasant -

Nose - ashy smoke and iodine up front but not overpowering, oiled leather, fresh baked bread, sea air, a touch of caramel sweetness Palette - so oily and rich, strong smoke in front, a damp ashy fire, some sharp metallic iodine, dried fruit and grainy bread, some light sugar sweetness in the background Finish - the smoke lingers for awhile then fades into the sweeter bread notes, pretty significant burn
