Bought this bottle for $36 at a cool store in MI. My brother-in-law and I loved it, tried to go back and buy some more but they were all gone. N - big sherry bomb nose, rich and dark, plums and a hint of walnuts, some spice P - medium to thick body, rich and spicy, some dry tannins but it adds balance F - dark fruit flavors linger, fall off into some dry spice, medium burn

Nose - orange zest, oak spice and cinnamon, smells a bit dry Palette - light oil texture, much more dry oak on the tongue, a bit of honey and vanilla, lots of dry tannin Finish - a bit if sweetness but mostly lingering dry tannins - medium burn

Nose - Spice and brown sugar, sour cherry and dry oak, a bit of dried apricot Palette - medium body, sharp citrus and caramel, dry cinnamon and wood spice Finish - rich caramel and cinnamon that lingers, slight lemon peel, medium burn

Nose - pear and golden raisins, sharp ethanol, vanilla and honey, baked spiced apples Palette - silky and light, sharp lemon peel, honey, slight metallic tones Finish - lingering lemon peel and sharpness, medium burn

Nose - rye spice and caramel, sweet corn band burnt caramel, nutmeg, a drip of orange zest Palette - medium body, sweet vanilla forward with rye spice behind, a touch of dry tannins Finish - medium length dry spice, medium burn

Nose - significant rye spice and baking spices, caramel and vanilla underneath, some citrus zest, rich overall and doesn’t smell too hot Palette - thick, sharp and hot rye spice up front, some herbal notes and cinnamon, burnt orange peel, a bit of brown sugar Finish - hot and lingering herbal spice, decent burn going down but very pleasant

Nose - sweet creamy corn, vanilla cream and lemon, Palette - medium body, spiced lemon frosting, vanilla, some cinnamon, like creamy buttery cinnamon oatmeal Finish - cinnamon and citrus lingers, mild burn, dry and the end

Nose - spicy corn, caramel, light pine, vanilla, citrus peel Palette - lightly oily body, dry and a bit sharp, spiced and dark caramel Finish - dry spice lingers, mild burn

Nose - floral vanilla and rich caramel, cinnamon, honey and a touch of citrus juice Palette - silky feel, rich and sweet but rounded sweetness overall, sharp cinnamon spice, some light honey Finish - sweet cinnamon lingers long, mild burn

Part of a fancy whiskey flight at our anniversary dinner. Nose - ashy smoke and iodine up front but not overpowering, oiled leather, fresh baked bread, sea air, a touch of caramel sweetness Palette - so oily and rich, strong smoke in front, a damp ashy fire, some sharp metallic iodine, dried fruit and grainy bread, some light sugar sweetness in the background Finish - the smoke lingers for awhile then fades into the sweeter bread notes, pretty significant burn
