Nose - heat, banana and caramel, like boozy banana fosters, some cinnamon and baking spices Palette - oily and rich caramel, strong cinnamon and spices, some banana and vanilla, not as much heat as I’d expect from the nose Finish - lingering rich caramel, a bit of cinnamon on my tongue, medium heat

Nose - spices and tropical fruit, caramel and creamy vanilla, honey, perfume and a bit of chocolate Palette - oily texture that clings, light and delicate flavors, honey and fruit, some oak slices and tannins, the caramel and vanilla are more muted Finish - long lasting, fruity and tannic, medium burn

Nose - spiced apple pie, melon, pear, oak tannins, some toffee and a bit of pecan Palette - medium body but slightly oily, juicy pear, cinnamon, honeydew melon, dark toffee, some slight oak bitterness Finish - juicy fruit quickly fades to linger slices and light bitterness, medium burn

Nose - red berries, darker fruits, sugary vanilla, kind of like melted ice cream, some wood spice notes Palette - medium body, more savory and nutty than it smells, almonds, butter, some saltiness, very faint fruity notes Finish - long lingering savory salted almonds, not bitterness and mild burn

Nose - vanilla cake, peach or apricot, soft and sweet, some honey, a few floral notes Palette - medium bodied, very sweet honey at first, sugared apricots, some vanilla, a bit of buttercream Finish - sweet frosting that lingers medium long, no bitterness, very mild burn

Nose - malt and honey, bright fresh fruit, rich dark fruits, some sweet vanilla and a bit of sour cherry Palette - medium to light bodied, rich and balanced but tipping towards the slightly sweet side, vanilla and fruit with some caramel, the sherry influence adds a darker layer underneath Finish - medium length, sour and sweet, slight bitter tannins at the end and a bit of spice, medium burn

I bought this for my 10 year wedding anniversary, as it seemed one of the more interesting 10 year old scotches available at my local store. Overall my wife and I loved it and have probably given half the bottle to family and friends to share the experience with them. Nose - malt forward, lightly toasted oak, dark sherry fruits, some brown sugar, some brighter fruits in the background as well Palette - it costs the tongue nicely and is quite rich, spiced plums and apples, molasses and brown sugar, some sharp but not unpleasant sour notes and a tiny bit of oak tannin bitterness Finish - long lasting ripe and stewed fruits, medium burn but oh so comforting

Nose - sweet peanuts, ethanol, ripe fruits, mint, some floral perfume notes Palette - thick and clinging, spices and herbs, some sweet fruits, sharp and slightly metallic Finish - spicy and sharp, some sour bites at the end, strong burn

Nose - honey and flowers with fresh green fruit, like honeysuckle and pears, some green apple and oak tannin influence Palette - fairly thin and light, sweet honey and oak tannins, some lemon zest as well Finish - sweet mixed with balanced bitterness, medium length and light burn

Nose - Heavy cinnamon and caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, some pecan notes, no fruit at all really Palette - surprising thin, light and sweet, caramel and sugar, spun cotton candy, and a solid amount of cinnamon and baking slices under everything Finish - spicy sweet, medium length, medium burn
