Edradour 2006 10 Year Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed February 23, 2021 (edited March 8, 2021)I bought this for my 10 year wedding anniversary, as it seemed one of the more interesting 10 year old scotches available at my local store. Overall my wife and I loved it and have probably given half the bottle to family and friends to share the experience with them. Nose - malt forward, lightly toasted oak, dark sherry fruits, some brown sugar, some brighter fruits in the background as well Palette - it costs the tongue nicely and is quite rich, spiced plums and apples, molasses and brown sugar, some sharp but not unpleasant sour notes and a tiny bit of oak tannin bitterness Finish - long lasting ripe and stewed fruits, medium burn but oh so comforting -
