I was incredibly lucky to find this at Harper Liquor Land near Detroit MI. I paid around $95, and I’ve seen it listed for far more. Nose - honey and green apple, sharp slightly bitter lemon peel, floral like an expensive perfume, cereal grains, some pear Palette - medium bodied, strong pear and honey on the first sip, apple and granola, floral notes again and honeysuckle, some lemon zest as well Finish - long lingering floral and green fruit, medium but pleasant burn

Nose - iodine and briney smoke up front, once you get past that I get dense clove and Christmas spices, chocolate caramel and a bit of a metallic note Palette - fairly oily, rounded flavors, a mixture of savory smoke with sweet spicy bbq Finish - long lasting sweet and salty feeling, but that eventually fades and leaves a light smoke aftertaste, medium burn

Nose - strong sherry influence, ripe berries and dark fruit, some brine sugar, caramel sweetness, barrel spice, light citrus zest and a bit of chocolate Palette - medium bodied, rounded sweetness and some strong oak spices, pepper spice as well, some oak tannins Finish - lingering fruit richness and a solid pepper spice, medium burn

Nose - like honey butter in warm bread, some yeast and lemon peel, sweet creamy vanilla as well Palette - oily, zesty and malty, salted butter, sharp lemon zing, floral and light vanilla Finish - sweet lingering honey citrus, medium burn

Got this in 2019 at the spectacular Harper Liquor Land, called Santa’s Favorite. Nose - big spiced caramel up front, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar and a hint of chocolate Palette - medium bodied, sharp and spicy, slightly metallic, cinnamon, dark caramel, a bit of cherry Finish - slightly dry, lingering cinnamon, medium heat

Nose - green sap, rye spice, sweet chocolate, Palette - light, dry rye spice, burnt tobacco, dry tannins, some black pepper and a bit of salt Finish - dry and spicy, some bitterness, medium burn

Nose - dry wood spice, butter poached pear, citrus peel, caramel and a bit of roasted nuts Palette - oily heat, spiced caramel, wood tannins, wood spices, some bitter marmalade Finish - rich, hot, spicy and long, strong warm and comforting burn

Nose - grilled corn with melted butter, sharp metallic spice, leather, dry wood, some caramel sweetness, a hint of green sap Palette - medium bodied, spiced corn and caramel, some nuttiness, a bit of wood tannin bitterness Finish - spicy and long, some bitterness, decent medium burn

Nose - classic barrel spice and caramel, kind of a closed nose overall Palette - medium bodied, strong spice, some vanilla and caramel underneath, barrel tannins and some nuttiness Finish - lingering dry spice, medium burn

Nose - lemon and lime zest, sharp metallic spice, some floral notes Palette - rich maltiness, some sweet citrus, a bit of dry tannins Finish - dry and malty, long lasting, mild burn
