Tastes

After a few years into the bourbon journey, this isnt it anymore. Fake vanilla strup, not much else to pick up. Drinkable and cheap

Fruit forward nose. Surprisingly spicy with corn flake cereal. Grainy finish which might be the only knock. Very solid

Pepper and fruit (clementine and honeydew) on the nose. Very spicey throughout. Slightly young and grain forward. Long finish. Bottle 19-331

Intense, jumps out the glass. Nose is subtle with fruit (orange juice), smoke. The taste is in your face - smoke, vanilla, minty, nutty. Spice comes late and has a nice linger. Flavorful, buttery, rich, and full.

Spicy nose, with some sweet fruit. Spice continues throughout, high proof carries this. Good mix of sweetness, almost like buttercream icing. Good mouthfeel, wonderful variation from the regular offering. Much needed step up - same great taste just elevated.

Great bourbon. Like it more every time i try it. Only thing missing is that fruity/spicy rye note.

Nose and taste are similar - very sweet, maple, pecans, toffee. Taste is where the spice comes out. Still sweet but also spicy with a medium to longer finish where you get the proof. Its good, but different. Almost a fake sweet mixed with baking spice. Seems like a fall dessert drink. Just wish it wasnt so expensive.

Grainy, yeasty, malty. Very balanced and flavorful but nothing really stands out. Good first inpression for their malt line. Not a bad pick up especially considering most American malts are at a much higer price point
