Tastes

Softer and sweeter nose. A slightly funky sweet toffee taste. Some wood and maybe dark fruits if i was stretching a little. Softer all throughout. Good but not for secondary.

Wow..great nose, fruity, spicy, and sweet. Thise notes continue throughout the taste with more spice than heat but is met with the brandy fruity sweetness. The oak is noticeable but really helps bring out the other notes. Just short of perfect if that is such a thing.

April 2023 - bought at the distillery. Nose is toffee, dark chocolate covered cherries, maybe some pecan/coffee. Taste is spicy but matched with sweet vanilla and oak char. Long finish, oak, spoce, and cherry. Very good

Lots of alcohol on the nose mized with berries, dried fruit, cereal grains. Taste picks up the spice and vanilla caramel toffee candy. Finishes with spice and raisens/more of that dried fruit nose. Really good and balanced with the proof being about right.

Nose and taste are very different but in a good way. Lots of fruit and toffee/caramel. Almost like a stout beer finish. Real good

Fruit everywhere. Pear, plum, grains. Sweet at the end. Very well balanced

It is what it is. Mixed between American Honey and fireball - not sure thats a good thing. Chilled and a shot might be better, but its not for me. Could see many people really enjoying it, but not for me

Light aroma but sweet. Initially hit with a younger grainy note. Then comes some corn bread, wheaties, and burnt marshmallows. No fruit or citrus at all. Not a ton of spice either. Its good but didnt live up to the hype for me, the first time thats happened with the Penelope line.

Lots of vanilla and some oak. Decent hug and malted flavor. Very pleasant and sweet

Another well balanced edition to the lineup. The extra years help to balance and add wood and spice. Wish it was cheaper
