This is a good one especially for the cost. Candy corn and vanilla on the nose and just smooth and yummy. Have the same taste except when I add a touch of ice. For some reason this brings out a hint of pickle on the finish?? When I can find this is one I always have on hand. Like all the good/fairly priced whiskeys now days this one can hard to find.

Man this ones playing games I think. For the high proof really smooth, I have a Weller 107 right beside and to be honest I can’t decide which I like better ( 107 has always been my fav ). Going back and forth still like Weller better but damn this is pretty good. Changes a lot everytime I smell but consistently get a chocolate, caramel, sometimes plum? Doesn’t burn given 130 proof but very strong finish which I like. Would love to get my hands on the Stagg sr. after trying this.

No burn, very smooth, velvety, and sweet. Not much going on from a complexity standpoint. Seems like a lot of mixed reviews on this one but must say I liked it very much. This would be the bourbon you keep on hand to entertain others and have one occasionally for yourself. A “crowd pleaser”

My first “wheated” bourbon. Have been hearing about this one for a while but could never find. Then one day to my delight in a small NC town there was one bottle sitting on shelf and at $29 a bottle couldn’t believe it. Didn’t disappoint definitely a smooth experience. Get a lot of cherry on the nose , Caramel, vanilla and Spice on the palate with a strong peppery / tobacco finish. Love it, when I can find will always be stocked.🤙🏼

For price and availability, hands down favorite. My absolute go to. Everything you would expect out of a good classic bourbon.

Different than any rye I’ve ever had, port definitely takes over but like the uniqueness. Will be a good nightcap/ desert drink. Smooth- Don’t expect anything comparable to other rye whiskeys.
