Can’t think of a better bourbon value for what you get here. 1 liter, BIB and it’s pretty darn tasty, nothing super special but surprisingly good. Will always have on hand.

Love this one compared to all I’ve tried prior last year. Can’t think of a better bourbon, age, proof, price and mostly available in my area. Would put up against the BTACs any day. Instead of paying crazy aftermarket prices or hunting those buy this whenever you see it. Especially if you like barrel proofs.

Single barrel pick- best of the Weller’s so far and OWA is one of my favorite bourbons. Thicker/Richer, smooth for the proof. Beautiful nose, caramel , vanilla, slight oak, cinnamon and dark fruits. Transitions to palate with a dark berry coming through, medium to long finish. One of the best bourbons I’ve had had.

Hasn’t gotten better, still disappointed with this one. A bit too Oaked, get more of sweet baking spice (cinnamon) on most other wheaters and this one is straight pepper. Nose is great but palate turns into a bitter wet oaked , medium /short finish

This is great, whether you like Rye whiskey or not do yourself a favor and try this. Smooth and buttery with a nice combination of baking spices and dark red fruits. For price point ($44) , proof (110) , and age (6+ years), this is a damn good dram.

Blinded this with Blanton’s SFTB, Elijah Craig BP, and William Laure Weller. This came in a close second to the WLW.

Great bourbon, smooth for the proof. It’s Blanton’s on steroids, exactly what you would expect. Do get a bit of a tea note on nose and palate. WTF don’t they sell this in the US?

By far my favorite out of the E.H. Taylor line up so far. Rich, thick and delicious with perfect amount delicious of burn. Caramel , Vanilla bomb with a bit of red apple and baking spices. Cinnamon comes through on finish similar to other BT offerings . Love it, wish I could find more often

Will review this one again after it opens up a bit. Neck pour neat initially I’ll say it’s a bit disappointing but that’s mainly because it’s a $150 bottle so expectations are high. For a BIB 15 year old bourbon get classic wheat notes of cherry, cinnamon, brown sugar and little pepper spice on finish. Def get the oak on nose and palate with a short to medium finish. This is a good bourbon don’t get me wrong, beautiful bottle, however there are many others in the $50 -$70 range just as good if not better. of cherry

Updated review after letting open up a bit, much better, get more of the bright fruit flavors along with oak, vanilla and a medium finish. Much better than initial pour. Still not worth secondary prices, would I pay $69 again...maybe?
