Not a huge JD fan but this is really good. Will absolutely destroy your palate before anything lower proof so drink those before you get to this. Strong but smooth. Get a lot of burnt brown sugar, banana, dark fruit (plum)? . Nice long smooth finish. This is the only one I feel a couple drops of water does justice. Don’t have a hard time finding either, get one ☝️

Really like this one but have had a good bottle and a bad bottle... the good bottle was very smooth, nutty, banana bread on the palate along with your classic caramel vanilla notes. At the price for a 10 year, BIB single barrel offering should rate higher but know there will be inconsistencies given it’s single barrel product.

Bought this after reading a couple reviews, nothing special after initial pour. Was told to let it open up and man did it ever. Given availability and price, love the barrel proof stuff. This is an amazing bourbon and agree rivals BT stuff. Great Mouthfeel, think vanilla pound cake with a cinnamon apple caramel note on palate, leather/oak finish. Fantastic👏 Update- The more I go back to this one it is 100% consistent to profile above and absolutely delicious. Bumping it up due to how it compares against others and thank you WT 👏👏it is “wildly” available at $49 which is a ridiculously fair price and steal for those that truly appreciate bourbon.

Nothing special here but good smooth sipper. Get a lot of Apple on nose which is nice, Caramel, Vanilla and apple on palate with a short finish. Given availability would say go with Larceny, both wheaters and similar profiles at same price point.

Solid BIB. My favorite of the 1792s so far. Best description would be comparable to the EH Taylor small batch BIB. Comparably Smooth with maybe a slight fruit note of some sort? Peach? Worth picking up if you can find a bottle. Would put ahead of the single barrel release.

Ok that’s all. Taste like a little older stronger Jim Beam? For the price point don’t think I would buy again but maybe I have a bad batch?

Quality bourbon, love single barrels and this didn’t disappoint. Smooth/Complex for 120 proof. Better than Bakers by far

Delicious, wish this was under $50 but still worth it. Cherry bomb for me, even has a red tent to it in glass. Lots of dark fruits, brown sugar, chocolate with a spiced cherry finish. Love this bourbon🤙🏼

Nose was beautiful but something lacking on taste, tasted just like Evan Williams single barrel. Very smooth but nothing complex or special. Seriously thought this might be something else in bottle but they were charging for EC 18. Like the barrel proof way better and the small batch for that matter if this really was the 18 year?

Good not great for the price, but it’s always available? I will say I liked more the further I got into the bottle...Let it sit for a couple months a little under half full when I went back to it seemed a lot better. Got some of the sweeter Caramel, vanilla, brown sugar notes where initially I tasted apple and was fruity/floral.
