    Dirt-cheap knockoff of the original Irish cream, Baileys. It’s not made with Irish whiskey, but with “grape wine,” and it’s obvious even if it wasn’t written on the label. It’s not completely terrible at first sip, but then this gross, vomit-like flavor shows up in the finish. It might be okay in mixed drinks. My dad has no sense of taste and gave me this bottle; price is what matters to him. I think you get what you pay for, and recommend you spend more for Baileys or another, better knockoff.

    Wow, that’s very nice. Sweet, with brown sugar, vanilla, and orange in the nose. Like an orange creamsicle. Spice, orange, and dark chocolate on the palette. Great, rich flavors. Well worth the price.

    Somewhat sweet, then slightly tart. Brown sugar, caramel, and a hint of peanuts. I’m not really getting the banana that a lot of people mention, which is a good thing. Good, but not as good as the Bottled in Bond 13 Year (Spring 2007) that I recently tried.

    Initially, I wasn’t fond of the flavor, but as I worked my way down the bottle, it grew on me. There’s honey, orange marmalade, even a hint of strawberry sometimes, and rye spiciness, but there’s no rye in the mashbill. Starts somewhat sweet but finishes dry. A bit pricey for what it is. There are other bottles I’d rather buy for the money.

    Wow, this is lovely. The aroma is wonderful, dominated by caramel and vanilla. The flavor is very nice, too, with vanilla, oak, peanuts, baking spices, and that nice sweet/tart combination. This is a delicious, full-flavored whisky.

    I’m a fan of George Dickel products, and like their new bourbon a lot. The aromas and flavors are pretty much what I want in a bourbon, although they’re a bit subdued; vanilla is especially light. There really aren’t any negative notes for me, though. The price is reasonable, too.

    Richer and stronger aromas and flavors in Wild Turkey 101 than in the entry-level Wild Turkey. Creme brûlée and a touch of honey in the nose. Vanilla is more prominent on the palette, and there’s no hint of smoke in the finish. The higher ABV in Wild Turkey 101 is noticeable, but not as much as I thought.

    Strong aromas of brown or caramelized sugar and s’mores. Very rich, sweet flavors dominated by brown sugar, gobs of oak, and cherries. Perhaps too rich for an Old Fashioned…consider using something less overpowering.

    It’s got the usual bourbon elements of vanilla, oak, and brown sugar, plus a bit of cherry-flavored pipe tobacco. Some light pie spices, especially cinnamon, too. I really don’t have anything negative to say. It’s a very tasty bourbon at a very reasonable price.
