This isn't world-class gin, but it's not the swill you might expect at its price point. It reminded me of what gin tasted like when I first drank it as a child in the 1950s. Heavy on juniper and citrus: neat, it is more drinkable than I expected but I wouldn't recommend it; mixed, the heavy juniper comes through in tonic water or a Negroni with the harsher elements subdued. I gave it a star bump up due to its price.9.0 USD per Bottle

Very reduced juniper, to the point of being equally balanced with the herb, floral, and citrus flavors, all of it is very light, surprising because it is 88 proof, this is a "modern" gin with very light flavors, it is inoffensive and should make a good light cocktail, I tasted it neat and tried it in a G&T, neat it tasted like a lightly flavored vodka, in a G&T it disappeared. It is smooth with little burn, there's nothing offensive about it, but I want more character in my gin. It might be good for a house party but you could buy Gordons for the same price and have something that tastes of juniper berries. If you want a modern gin with greatly reduced juniper taste, this could be a good selection.18.0 USD per Bottle
