Tasting with a cigar. Nice cherry sweetness. Well executed.

Just a touch spicier than the 16. A cozy but not overwhelming peat.

Very light color, a light hay. Nose: the peat hits you the moment you pour it. Sweeter kelpy peat, hints of cucumber, sweet mint, and salad. A bit barn yard-y. Taste: Clean malt at first, sliding quickly into barrel spice followed by floral peat. Peat smoke wraps your tongue in a cozy blanket on the finish.

Nose: Anise, clove, herbal bitterness hops almost, the fruit comes out after a couple tastes Taste: initially clean, spicy midpalette, finishes with wine and herbs

Nose: Cinnamon Taste: Barrel spice, black pepper, and some vegetal notes. lingering tingling finish.

Nose: baking spices, red licorice, light hint of cigar Taste: black pepper and barrel spice. Velvet feel with lighter red fruit notes. Lingering heat on the finish.

Delicate for an Islay. Seaweed, damp leaves, baking spices, and that Ardbeg sweetness on the nose. Starts with olive oil and the spice creeps in with full force. Lingering black pepper and earth.

So yummy. Heavy yet sweet peat. Funky with a little bike tire rubber on the nose. Earthy spice with a decent barrel more. Kind of a spicy olive oil finish. A warming lingering heat.

Wasn't a big fan. Just one note of barley with some barrel spice. It has potential but isn't there yet
