Interesting and complex rye. Heavy pepper and spice notes. Strong licorice presence. Getting red fruits, even strawberries, on the taste.

Musty barn/hay and some peppery notes on the nose with a little red fruit hiding in the back. Sour bread and barrel spice on the taste.

Just delightful. A little spiky-er compared to the 16, probably because of the proof, but just as wonderful. i get a bit more mulch and tobacco than the 16 on the nose. Burnt salty BBQ caresses on the taste.
