Spectacular Enticing nose - sweet Delicious pallet Finish WOW!!!!

Always interesting to "see" what Four Roses big boy blend has come up with. Blending is often overlooked or not fully understood which is okay Ideally a blend done right leaves one with everything good you could want in your glass...and anything you do not want ...not there The nose is fantastic U can pick up some great aromas just pouring this into a glass...tons of fruit The palate is well done Not over oaked Super tasty The finish is good not great As of now 1st pour would rate Nose 4.5/5 Palate 4.5 /5 Finish barely a 4/5 Overall pleased If nose and palate continued into the finish this would be incredible Cheers

OMG...as close to perfection as a whisky can get Have had this in waiting since 2021 An enticing apple, fruitiness, light peat on the nose Sherry on the palate that carries through the finish Rich Complex Lower proof holds its own does not disappoint Exceeded expectations 4.75/5

Amazingly balanced Very sweet What some people call that Flintstone vitamin I pick up as a nuttiness... so I do pick up Dickel but I love it I would rate it 4.5 out of 5

A delicious pour Drinks hotter than 53.5% but at the same time is so good in so many ways Very mouth filling Seriously long extremely yummy finish 4.25/5 and it's a fresh crack Can't wait till it starts to open up Cheers

Well done Not 100% my flavor profile but a definite buy at or close to retail Nose is slightly muted Palate is mouth filling Finish is nice and long but drinks slightly hot

Revisiting... Having a 4 oz Boston Round that was well stored filled to the top when bottle was a fresh crack Originally rated 4/0, but must say its at least a 4.25/5. Normally 4.0 or higher for me means I would buy a bottle, maybe a backup 4.25 definite buy with back up probable multiple backups possible 4.5 and 4.75 more of the same with an even greater appreciation 5.0 not certain if i have rated anything at 5/5 but if so everything was incredibly delicious...literally flawless With WLW price hitting 2K on secondary earlier this year, prices did decrease however too hard to find at or close to retail and so many other bottles as good and can be found at or around retail... WLW is a treat, sipping on this Christmas day 2022 and appreciating it, but not ISO CHEERS

Definitely enjoyable A nice bottle to have on hand especially to share with others To me this is off profile, absolutely a well done rye, but little if anything is comparable There are aromas and tastes that are so enticing As Leopold Bros say about this lost tradition of whiskey making is it unlocks oils and aromas
