Lots of Sherry on the nose. Aroma is intoxicating not meant as a pun Fruit Oak Carries through to the palate as well as the finish which is long and tasty Solid 4/5 Ideally if there was such a score I would rate this a 4.12/5

Distiller states " It ranges between 108 - 110.8 proof" however the one I am sippin on is 113.6 Proof/ 2021 Nice spice on the nose Tasty!!!! Nice long finish A great example of rye at retail I'd make this one of my daily drinkers

Sherry/ Oak draws you in on the nose Very tasty - fruity, sherry influence a plus Finish flawless Have a few bottles bunkered from a few years ago & do not remember last time i drank this. A friend gave me a sample and have to say VERY PLEASENTLY SURPRISED!!!!! I am definitely going to open a bottle as sadly out of 100 or so open bottles, I do not believe 1 is Japanese??????? Cheers

Specifics are Parkers 13th Edition, Char #5, aged 8 year 9 month on 7th floor of rickhouse "Y", Parkers 1st rye, NO CHILL FILTRATION Bright Sweet Mouth filling ...by no means your average rye

I love beer I love whiskey I love the concept The nose throws me a little off as far from typical "whiskey" Hard for me to pickup on each of the 5 malts use individually, as this is whiskey that started as "distillers beer" using 5 malts as name implies Nothing unpleasant on the pallet or on the finish...but also nothing that shines Very drinkable just does not hit my "must haves" So for me I would not personally purchase a bottle, but if you never tried this & see it at a bar or a friend offers a pour check this out for yourself

I enjoyed this pour Mouth filling Balanced Sweetness from Nose/ Pallet/ to finish Would be tempted to rate this pour a 4.25/ 5 but there was something slightly off in the finish 4/5 still solid and a recommended buy at retail or by the pour at a bar
