Tasted with Laura Hay during presentation. Did not write notes so this is based on simple memory, This was incredibly smooth but also with great complexity with sweet, smokey subtle fruit and nut flavours. The finish was also very smooth, belying it's alcohol content, which was hardly noticeable due to the incredible balance displayed in the whiskey. Super stuff, but also on a completely different profile to the 21yo

Tasted with Laura Hay during presentation. Did not write notes so this is based on simple memory. This was a very complex whiskey which I think was matured in sherry casks. It had some spicy fruit characters, smoky oak and quite warming as well. There was a lot going on and a lingering finish.

Did not write notes so this is based on simple memory, but it was quite a smooth subtle whiskey that was matured in American oak and displayed sweet vanillin characters and had a mellow finish. Not overly complex but very pleasant. With a hint of additional complexity I would have scored a point higher

Spicy and medicinal characters, with prominent oaky pine chips and long lingering warming finish. Medium to full bodied but plenty of intesity and a clean refreshing style
