Peated Blend — ScotlandTastedNose of faint peat smoke and sweet - maybe honey, vanilla and caramel. Smoky, smooth, a little spice.
The Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, ScotlandTastedBalvenie Doublewood 12y - Nose of leather and oak. Faint smell of chocolate. Taste is easy and smooth. Sweet and oaky, no spice, no smoke.
Old Pulteney 12 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, ScotlandTastedSweet at first, with a bit of spice that comes later. Very little aftertaste, mild overall. Very pleasant. Rich and tasty.
Glen Moray 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, ScotlandTastedSpicy, but light. Not overly flavorful.
Clynelish 14 Year
Peated Single Malt — Highlands, ScotlandTastedHighland oily air, but not as much as others. Bit of smoke and a bit tart. Burnt and heady finish.
Cardhu 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, ScotlandTastedFloral, sweet, easy. No bite and easy to drink. Light.
Ledaig 10 Year
Peated Single Malt — Islands, ScotlandTastedPeaty and rich like Lagavulin, but not as over the top as Lagavulin. A bit bright and some bite to it.
