Tastes

Nosing smells like Chivas 12 or Jameson, nail varnish. Yet, don't be fooled by it. Once it is in your mouth, tasted some apple / cherry notes. After taste was sweet and mild. Overall, very good character. Good for beginners.

Disappointed. Everybody was raving about this bottle. Smells like cinnamon and some sweet herbs. Taste like cinnomon and some sweet spices as well, not really to my liking though. After taste was short.

Creamy and abit milky. Reminds me of ice cream or to be particular McFlurry. Not smoky or peaty. Finish is spicy though.

Mild bourbon compare to their counterparts. Smell of apples, honey / marmalade and corn flavour ice cream. Taste sweet and mild, with hint of honey / marmalade. Slightly spicy. I will say a good mild bourbon for beginners.

Nose smell like lemon. Taste fruitty and peaty at the same time but not the heavy burned smokiness. Finish is spicy, with taste of cinnamon or pepper. The spicy after taste stays on very long on the tongue, caught abit of pear.

Nose was good, had some nice bonfire / brainy smell. Taste was bad, flat, bitter and spicy, taste like the charred part of a burned meat, nothing else. Bitter is the most distinct taste. Not a very strong after taste as well.

Quite a disappointment. I had this bottle for years, and decide to open during lunar new year 2021. It wasn't a bad one, but neither is it something exceptional. Nosing smells like Jameson. But don't be fooled by the nose. Taste very mild and decent, some sherry cask taste and honey. After taste feels like caramel, something like Werther's Original. Will I purchase again? Probably not.
