    Spicy and toasty with a touch of a burn. Not complicated but sippable. Actually like this better than Appleton Signature. Solid in a mixer and a sipper.

    At 100 proof, it’s sippable but hot — no shortage of that whiskey burn. Traditional rye whiskey on the nose. Buttery rye, some cherry and ground pepper on the tongue and not sweet like some ryes and not overly complicated. Definitely put it on the rocks or mix it.

    Tastes like apple pie. Very smooth drinking. Can drink neat or with an ice cube. Good mixer with traditional iced tea. Definitely needs to be shared with friends.

    Not a gin aficionado, more of a whiskey and scotch drinker. Bought it for the limited release. Nose has lavender, touch of juniper and a bunch of berries. This gin has floral notes and tastes of lavender and berries.Can be drink neat with an ice cube but tastes brilliant in a gin and tonic (25% gin, 75% tonic)

    Sweet, a touch spicy, a dash of butter, and caramel with a hint of vanilla. A nice but brief whiskey burn afterwards. Has a dash of fruity aftertaste. Better than most and at the right price point for the flavor but above average in my opinion.

    Definitely rye, spiciness and ethanol burn. The burn will stick with you for a while. This rye is definitely old-school and far surpasses Old Grandad in terms of complexity with rye and oak — and that blistering whiskey burn. Not as sweet as George Dickel.

    Not a gin drinker but this gin is pretty terrible on its own — tastes like fake trees with fake lime. Definitely a mixer with ginger ale, ginger beer, punch or something tropical. Wouldn’t buy it again.
